The Company has a number of Off the Shelf Courses available. These have been constructed in a modular format so each can be adjusted to suit a particular organisations needs. Example outline of courses are provided below.

2 Day Integrated Logistic Support Awareness Course

The objective of this course is to provide a good awareness of ILS addressing:

  • ILS Objectives
  • ILS Management Methods & Techniques
  • ILS Technical Methods & Techniques
  • ILS Elements
  • Future ILS application and developments
  • Practical ILS application including tailoring

The course will provide an understanding of the ILS management role and responsibilities and an awareness of the ILS Disciplines and Elements. The analytical techniques within Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) and Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) will be addressed along with a summary introduction to Technical Documentation, Supply Support, Support & Test Equipment, Manpower and Facilities. Various ILS standards e.g. Defence Standard 00-60, 00-40, AECMA 1000D, 2000M, etc. will be identified and the content of these standards discussed.

2 Day Logistic Support Analysis

The 2 day LSA course provides a good introduction to LSA Management, the LSA Tasks and LSA Record. The course includes an overview of each LSA task explaining the intention of the task and its practical application. Real examples are used to identify how tasks are performed and to highlight potential challenges and issues. The course can be centred on Defence Standard 00-60 or Military Standard 1388. The course will provided details about the evolution of the subject and its likely future application within an availability contracting environment.

1 Day Business Process Modelling

This course begins by identifying and discussing the various business process modelling methods and standards. This includes an explanation of their evolution and current status. The delegates then perform modelling exercises to establish an understanding of process modelling basics. The course uses the IFS Business Modeller software to illustrate how software tools are used to aid model development, configuration control and production of model outputs such as HTML files. The course provides a good grounding in how models are developed and used.
